The process of replication

The word, "replication" refers to the process which uses machines to "stamp" or "press" the data into a disc during the manufacturing process.

A "glass master" is created in a "clean room" (a self-enclosed clean environment that is free of dust, hair, smoke and pollen), that will create a set of "stampers" (molds). The stampers clone the original DVD-R or DVD+R master through mounting onto an injection mold machine.

A replicate of the mold is turned into a plastic disc which is coated with aluminum. A hardened lacquer is then synthesized onto the disc by spinning the lacquer and then affected by UV light.

All DVDs are then inspected through a rigorous testing process, and those that don't pass inspection are destroyed. The discs that pass are then silkscreen or offset printed.

Although standard turnaround time is 5-10 business days for bulk orders, we specialize in rush orders in as fast as 24 hours.
